Q36.5 AMPHIB Winter Rain Gloves in Black

Size Guide

DESCRIPTION

Not your traditional neoprene rain glove!

Introducing a new kind of hand protection on harsh days –waterproof protection with a comfy fit.

Designed with a three layer fabric that includes a waterproof membrane between two polyamide layers, it allows for a more breathable rain glove and prevents the condensation process next to the skin which commonly occurs with a normal neoprene material.

Born as a rain glove, it has also become our favorite winter glove due to its' thermoregulation properties and nonpareil second skin fit created by a seamless construction that also maintains a high breathability rate.

WET-RIDE GUIDE

Built for riding in the rain — here's how to get the most from them

Breathability vs. waterproofing
The three-layer membrane construction actively reduces internal condensation compared with neoprene, but no fully waterproof glove is infinitely breathable. On rides inside the 2°C–18°C thermoregulation range, heat buildup is minimised; above 18°C the gloves will feel warmer and less ventilated than an open rain glove.

Cuff placement and water ingress
The seamless, close fit creates a natural seal against the wrist. For the best protection against sleeve run-off and spray:

  • Tuck the cuff of your jacket or gilet over the glove, not inside it, so water sheets away from the opening.
  • On longer or harder rain rides, a short waterproof overmitt or mid-layer gauntlet cuff can further seal the wrist junction if needed — the glove's slim profile accommodates this.

Layering in cold and wet conditions
At the lower end of the range (2°C–8°C) a thin liner glove is not typically needed thanks to the insulating inner construction, but can be added where a larger fit allows. Above 12°C the gloves perform well as a standalone wet-weather layer without overheating.

Long-ride performance
The non-neoprene construction avoids the waterlogged, heavy feel that develops with traditional neoprene over multi-hour rides. Grip and dexterity are maintained by the second-skin seamless fit, which does not bunch or shift against brake levers and shifters during extended use.

Suitable conditions at a glance

  • Rain rides and wet roads: 2°C–18°C body-temperature range
  • Cold dry days: suitable as a standalone winter glove within the same temperature range
  • Not recommended as the sole layer below 2°C or in sustained heavy snow where a heavier insulated glove is preferable
